Bettas in the Houston area?

Houston is the next closest town for me so I’m wondering if anyone lives in the area or knows where I can buy bettas that don’t come from the chain stores. Bettas that are actually taken care of and less likely to have fin rot or a disease. I’m making a divided tank and would like to make sure I do everything I can to keep them healthy.
