I suppose this is something that has never really been looked into, but to re-explain my situation first:
I have a 5 gal hex tank, slow filtration and good hiding spots. It was cycled with two male balloon mollies, Othello and Dezzi. About 5 days ago I went to the store to find myself a few new tank mates and i ended up brining home a female betta, Rascal. She will not feed with my boys, who top feed like starving dogs, so i have devised a way to feed her through a straw. I set her pellet bits in the straw and the pieces float down to her level.
I'm curious about what colors they recognize because that will help me on straw color. I hope that a certain color will help indicate to Rascal that it is time to eat.
Any clues would be awesome, though i'm thinking about preforming a little scientific method to this.
