Mamashack's new purple plakat came from the place TLM mentions. He's a gorgeous and healthy boy. I usually get my fish from aquabid. All the good betta breeders are from Thailand so shipping is steep if you have to use a transhipper. While they ship worldwide, I paid over thirty dollars for my shipping (5 to get the betta to USA, the rest to get the fish from Florida to my front door). You may want to avoid that if you are looking for free shipping.

There are some good local betta breeders in most places although finding them is the problem.  I know plenty of really good US breeders that have some stock that is just as good as Thailand imports but then there are breeders that do not have as good of stock.

bit pricey for me mate as im only looking for a cheap one. just want 2 keep a fish while i wait 2 set my big tank up again. some of them bettas are lush tho
