Thanks, it looks to me like you did everything you could...but it sure is a mystery..what is it? where did itt come from!...anyway i dont care what it is i just want to annihilate the little sh....buggers!

Well checked on him this morning....and NO wormy stringy things.and his sore is healing nicely...fins unclamped..food being ate.life is good for mr Betta!!

Ive dealt with this three times. And ive found that the fish were stressed that got them. I used salt to treat one female fighter but she was left with fin rot and is making a slow recovery.
The other female has a couple on her and is now in a salted tank slowly going up to 3 teaspoons per gallon which she will need to stay in for a couple of weeks. The male that got them sadly died.
I found no parasite med that helped either but the salt did.
Hope he doesnt get them back but you need to keep a really close eye on him and check constantly he doesnt have any more.

yipee ! well done but yes, keep a very close eye on him and that sore to make sure it doesn't develop into a bacterial infection.

Thanks, i think i caught it early enough.he only had a few, enough to count.maybe 20ish?
he looks so visibly better and has a great appetite. i found the meds knocked them out, i only added salt once to his tank, didnt bath him.

He had 2 sore's, one on his head and onenear his tail, but they are both healing well!
