Betta with dropsy

Hi all
my betta has come down with dropsy(thought at first he was being his usual piggy self )
Ive moved him into a 8g hospital tank and am treating with interpet #9 anti internal bacteria and a salt solution. He seems to be doing ok, swimming around his new tank but a bit more lackluster than norm.
my main question is feeding, do peeps feed while in hospital tanks, if how much.
any advise will be greatly accepted

this peep still feeds... feeding him the best food u got will probably help too..

flakes probably wont help him much... feeding him the good stuff might make him stronger ?

thanks- will give him some blood worm or brine shrimp and just see how he gets on
