I was changing everything over from my 60ltr to 125ltr and at the end of it all, i noticed my oldest pk female bloated and her scales pine coning  she was in a tube with an airstone and heater, looking really bad.

I've put her into the 123ltr tank and her scales have gone done, to nearly normal, she's swimming about more but to me, she still looks iffy.

Is it now just a waiting game, to see if she is over it?

In what way does she still look 'iffy'? One of my Koi who suffered from swimbladder issues had signs of dropsy (pineconing) but it didn't cover the entire body and eventually the scales went back to normal. So with this, it might be that your Betta is suffering from some kind of illness but not dropsy.

I'm not sure if this is fact but based on experience temperature fluctuations seem to have caused my Koi to lose balance and show signs of pineconing so have you had your tank water temperature fall suddenly at all?

it fell as the tub they were in was having issues stabalizing.

Just got home now and all her scales are pine coned, she can't close her mouth and lit. looks like a ballon  she's stayed in one spot and is not budging much from the surface.

I'm dreading going downstairs in the morning as i know she'll be dead
