I have a male betta and a female betta that I plan to breed (in a heavily planted 15 gallon). The female is around 2/3 the size of the male. Not including finnage, he is 2 inches give or take and she is about 1 1/2 inches long. Will he beat on her more so than natural during breeding? If so I will either get a larger female or a bigger male. I won't breed them 'til I have an answer so please help :D :p  :hyper:

They should be allright. It's recommended that the female be a bit smaller than the male to wrap around her properly. If they like each other then you have it made.

Thank you. I've never heard anything about size difference in all the info I read up on but thanks for the help :D :pepsi:
