Betta Pi ?

Went to a local LF and noticed what was called BETTA PI, they didn't look like Betta's and they were dark in colour.

Anyone heard of these ?

Not sure about anything at the mo, I bought some PK's and Halfmoons from Bettaman and busy getting them settled.

My husband showed me the Betta Pi's but as I knew nothing about them I was dubious as to exactly what their ancestry was. I can check them out if you want, they were a reasonable price as well (if my memory serves me well, which I'm not too sure about at the mo as I have a stinking cold).

But if you're interested this is the lf and I believe they also post fish too........

betta pi is a large-ish mouthbrooding betta species. nice find!

Wow, that's totally cool, if they really are B. pi! Next time you go, see if you can get a good look at their lower lip... B. pi have a dark marking in the shape of the pi symbol on their lip

Just phoned the lfs to check on whether they are tank bred or wildstock, chap said that they were wildstock shipped over from Singapore.

Cost is £6.95 each or £12.95 a pair.

May just pop over to have a better look at them
