betta not acting right

I just put one of my bettas that I've had for 6 months that was in a fish bowl into a 2.5 minibow tank. And all he seems to do is sit at the top of the tank, go between a plant and sit their, or he sits on the bottom. Why is this? And is it normal for this to happen since he is not used to a "big" tank?

Better of asking for this to be put in he betta section far more replies over there, probably just getting used to his new home.

I did put it their but got no response and I thought that this might be a problem if hes cold or something.

You did put him into the same temp as it was in the bowl

No the 2.5 was maybe a few degrees higher than the bowl but I did put him in a bag and treated him like a new fish.

Right,he should be ok maybe just abit of stress, just keep a close eye on him good luck.
