betta in with guppies?

hi
probably a stupid question, but can a make betta go into a guppy and catfish tank safely?. i feel bad for the bettas in those small containers and some are so beautiful i would like one if it’s safe. my other option is a plastic round gallon fish bowl.

It may work for awhile but bettas often turn suddenly and kill all the other fish. There are other aspects to this as well, like the chemicals fish release into the water.

Also guppies are hard water fish and catfish and bettas require soft water

i kinda thought so. how big must a container be for a betta?

2.5 gallons minimum with a heater (and a filter preferably), but I would reccomend a 5g. Theres a great 5 gallon kit set from Walmart with a filter and heater and hood for $30.

No betta with other fishes, they do better alone. last time I put guppies in with betta, my betta almost died...
You can add kuhli loaches in the betta tank though.
