Betta I Just Rescued (very Poor Condition)

I'm sad to say the betta just passed away today. She was doing much better, she actually was turning red all over her body, she must have been so pale at the store from lack of good care. Yesterday I noticed she had some ich on her fins and she wasnt eating well, I woke up today and she was dead covered in white stuff and I saw a tiny black leech like creature dead near the body, could have been some sort of parasite. I am shocked she even lived this long seeing how bad she was, but at least I gave her the best last days I could with food,clean water, medicine, and love.

She was looking like this, quite different than what she looked like when I got her!

Sorry to hear that hon, if it was parasites that bad she did very very well up to this point under your care. She has to thank her lucky stars someone came along to give her proper care towards the end. Will you get another betta not necessarily from the same place?

I might, since I spent $40 on a tank I never even got to use yet. I have to see because all the stores here sell sick bettas, so no matter where I go they'll need some sort of extra care.
