Hey, My Bette Seems to be at the top of my tank not moving, on its side, as if it is too lazy to move.

What Happended
- Betta is in the 90l tank with 10neons,5runny noses, 2 pandas, 2 platys and a few assain snails.
- The neons got some problems so i moved them to a hosplital tank.
- Since the betta was my fav fish, i moved him to a seperate tank, Approx 20l, heater and a make shift filter and an air pump.
- At the start the betta seemed to explore the tank, now it just seems to be at the top of the tnak on its side

Could it just be bloated and i need to feed it some peas?

Thanks Tortea

pH = 7.6 or slightly higher
Nitrate = 0
Ammonia = 0

What's your nitrite reading?

Are his gills moving? Is he moving at all or just on his side?

Gills are moving, and he moves if i come close to the tank, but its difficult, then he just floats back and rests on his side.

feed some peas if hell eat it. sounds like either swimbladder disorder (from injury or rapid temp change generally) or from bloat. keep the water clean. dont feed him (other than some peas for one meal-and only a bit) for three days.
does he look bloated at all?
cheers
