Hi everyone,
I hope that someone out there can help us. We have a Betta who up until now has been very healthy and happy. we have had him over 6 months. The last two days, when we try to feed him, he can't seem to swallow his food. Externally his mouth looks OK. He tries to eat it and wants to eat, but he can't. It comes out of his mouth every time. When the food comes out of his mouth, he even tries to chase it and eat it again. We are worried sick about him. He is such a interactive fellow. He even "dances" for us and comes to the front of the tank to greet us. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried to Google for help but didn't come up with anything.

Hi Tumeria, Not sure I'm an expert but our betta used to have the same problem. For us, we used to keep his bowl on our kitchen counter but realized the noise was freaking him out. When we moved him to a quiet spot he eventually started eating, and hasn't stopped since.
