Betta Help Asap

ok i did have a male in the tank about 8 months ago, shame,u say the unfertile eggs would be at the bottom well there not there in like a bubble nest all at the top.beenn there around 2-3 days.

The eggs would have to be fertilized as soon as they left the females body, so even if you did have a male months ago it makes no difference.

If you want to try breeding fish, have a go with some livebearers. They will be ok in your tank, though many of the fry will get eaten, but that's no bad thing unless you want to be inundated. 1 male with 2 or more females. They give birth to live young in approx 28 days, though most females are already pregnant when you get them. :good:

sorry, misread about where the eggs were. The eggs are tiny, like a grain of salt and difficult to see. You are perhaps mistaking bubbles for eggs?
The only way you could have fry is if one of your females was actually a male....no really. By now you would see the tails of the fry hanging down from the nest, they are VERY small. However, even after all that, the other inhabitants of the tank would have probably made a meal of them by now. Sorry.

i know ive bred zebra danios and minnows
thjere at the top though

Some females blow bubble nests....the reason i say they are unfertalized is because the male actually would need to be in the tank with the female when the eggs are released. The male betta is also responsible for caring for any fry that (if you did spawn them) would hatch.

If you look at the bubble nest and see something like this then you have baby betta fry: Otherwise, assume that the eggs aren't fertile (which most likely they are not) and get rid of them when you do your next water change.
