and when should i remove the male?
At 29-30C (which is the correct water temp for a breeding tank) the eggs will hatch around 48 hours after they are laid and the fry's tails will be hanging down from the nest. Another 48 hours after this and the fry will start to become free swimming and need food. Remove the male now, earlier if he shows any sign of eating the fry. Feed him up on bloodworms.
Liquifry is not good for betta fry. They require small live food. The best foods to use are microworms and vinegar eels. If you absolutely can't get these (or you've left your cultures way too late and don't have enough) you could try liquifry but I doubt you'll get a good success rate with betta fry. I haven't tried liquifry so I don't really know. If that doesn't work I suppose you could try the other tiny-fry-food standby, a tiny bit of the yolk of a hardboiled egg. Generally the fry can be put onto baby brine within a week or two. This might be longer if you're using something other than live food as a starter.
