ok my bettas just spawned last night after they were done i separated the female and now im worried im gonna do something wrong, i have the saram wrap on top of half th tank and on top of that i have a glass cover that is covering majority of the tank, my tank is around 80 to 82 degrees. am i doing ok so far? any tips would be very helpful. i have looked it all up online but hearing it from people on this site helps.

Sounds like you are doing great! How's daddy doing with the eggs? If he munches too often, I would take him out but things seems perfect. My daddy did well but ate an occasional egg which is normal, I've heard they do that to prune out the bad ones who won't develop right. Anyway, glad things are going well! Do you have a live culture going to feed them when they hatch? It isn't the only way but it seems to be the best. A lot of mine died because they were eating the liquifry or the powdered fry food I gave them. Next time, I will start up a culture. Let us know what happens!!!

well i was going to get liquifry today. but now i dont know what to get now sense you said alot of yours died because of it :( my male is doing great. i watched him all last night pick up the eggs and even the female helped out! thanks for the help if you have ANY suggestions please feel free to share them lol. i need all the help i can get :)

i think your best bet would be to get ur hands on a microworm culture, the move up to bbs, then grindalworms.

yeah i just looked that up. where can i get them? can i find them at my LFS?

you should look some do some dont it depends on the shop. seen as tho you werent that prepared you shouldnt expect a whole load of surviving fry but you can try liquifry never done it personally
