ATM i feed my betta hikiri pellets, which are awesome and he loves. but i found a great (i mean GREAT) deal on Wardley brand pellets. just wondering if anyone recommends/ does not recommend these type of pellets. any info appreciated. fyi, he occasionally gets other foods as well (bloodworm/peas/etc)
enjoy your fish!!!
Hi, loraxchick,
I'm afraid I have no idea about the food, although I do have a vague impression of Wardley being said to be good generally, but is this some massive bulk deal?
Because if it isn't, it might be worthwhile trying it, see how he does on it, or if he does eat it at all.
He does get a good and varied diet, so there's certainly no danger of malnutrition.
And you might discover something wonderful that evidently few, if any, of us have tried.

Actually, I've just searched for it and it's part of the Hartz Group and apparently 'America's number one fish food'.
(They obviously must have betta/tropical fish pellets but all I can see are the 'Pond Stix' thingies and Cichlid pellets - too lazy to look any more, and I think I'm crawling off to bed, if I make it that far.)
As long as they fit betta requirements and mouths, the more variety the better.
But if your betta's like mine, you could be chucking a lot of foods nobody wants to eat.
Funny how fussy and yet greedy they can be, all at the same time...
Oooops, did crawl off without posting this...
