three days ago two of my bettas in a divided tank jumped the barrier and fought. by the time i releize what was happening the damage was already done. i lost my boy jasper that day to internal injuries. the other one had badly damaged fins and i have been keeping a close eye on her. today i found her laying on her side very pale, loosing fin color, she is having a hard time getting aroun and breathing hard.
is there anything i can do to save her please, help

oh man. that is bad news. i had a similar thing happen but luckily for my fish no deaths.
id say lower the water level if the fish is having trouble getting to the surface. try to keep the tanklights off to reduce stress. keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. a dose of melafix might not hurt either to help with the regrowth of the fins, but since it is stressed out maybe use a half dose or wait until there is some improvement in the stress level.
good luck!

R.I.P.
Can the fish maintain its balance in the water.
Could of damaged her swim bladder.
It's not sounding good.

she can still each the top of the tank. i put in her favorite ornament her floating log and she had snuggled inside of it.

Have you added a med to the tank?

Did she show all the symtoms before adding the med.
Is there plenty of aeration in the tank?

its a betta tank so i tend to stay away from areation
i have a tank with areation in it i could try scooting her into a breeding net.

When you add med you need to increase aeration as the med reduces 02 in the water.

wilder be honest, do i have any chance on saving her, or should i just let her go?

It's not sounding good.
Give her another day bless her.
Good Luck.

I am so sorry to hear that Sailor. She was a sweet girl who I know will be greatly missed.
