Betta Didnt Make It

Thank you all for your wonderful help and advice.

I still dont know what was up, this was a very resistant strain. I bought the Kanacyn, that was all my LFS carried. and treated him buy the second day the whole fin was gone. I lowered his water so he could get to the top easier but he began to get tired so I netted him and help him for a while and released him again.

It was sad and slow finally I guess he just gave up, I took him to the LFS and ask them just to make sure he was really gone (he was belly up) but ya never know and to find out if they new ( they have onsite vet) what it might be and they said same thing unusual strain of fin rot.

Quark is gone and will be sadly missed.

oh no! sorry to hear that i just recently got my betta and am already very attached to it. i can't imagine losing one

Hey Sweet_tinuviel,

So sorry to hear about your betta. The hard part is watching them fight it, but can't. I know the feeling, I too lost a betta to fin rot, it sucks.

P.S.

I went to the LFS in Riverside, very nice store, went on a sat so I didnt ask for the guy, I need money to buy bettas, but ill let ya know whats up and what I find out.
