Well, I just added 4 small julii cory to my 24 gallon tank with my crowntail, it with has tons of driftwood and plants, since I have hight light 64 watts and lots of plats and driftwwod, and tons of algae they seem to be getting along ok.
At first when I first put them in my betta( still in the bag to aclamate them, he flarred up real bad, and didn't attack them when i released them in with him, but was following them around real close all pumped up.
then when he would go up and flare at one they would come togeather and he would bolt off like a rocket, lol
and he stayed at the top of the tank, now 3 hours latter he is going back to the bottom and is actully poking plants and the substrate (eco-complete) like they are doing, and when he goes to the top for air, he bolts up supper fast like they do, they swim nonstop to the top of the tank, middle, and stay at the bottom also, but they are all over that tank.
sometimes they run into him and he bolts a little, but I think he is getting used to them as he don't look as stressed as he did, and he is eating like a hog again, lol.
funny thing is, is that the corys usally are solo, they are not grouping a whole lot ,but going where ever they want.
Well, as I look over, it seems he is blowing a few bubbles now nd again in a corner, so he must not be to mad, lol
I am going to do water change and clean tomarrow a little off the glass, and will try to post some pics of them when its cleaner.
