Ive had 2 blue platy's in my tank for about a month now, and I bought a blue male betta today, for the first hour he was perfect with the other fish, in fact at my LFS he was in a community tank with other rosy barbs. But now he is attacking one of my blue platy, I really dont know if its aggresive or not, he is slowly chasing him around the tank and sometimes lunging to take a bite out of him maybe.....I was wondering what should I do? wait it out and see if it stops since its not rough yet, or take the betta out??

I had to take him out and put him in a emerg cup
he was going after my bala sharks too
i dont want them to get any ich!

is there a way to develop a safe community with the betta in the tank?

Im not an expert on Betta's, but they are usually only aggressive to the same species...you might just have a bad boy who wants to be by himself :p

Im sorry I couldnt be more helpful :/
