What killifish species are you concerned about.

i need to know ASAP

Australe are a very peaceful species when young but can get a bit boisterious when adult, normally I would say yes given the species but use your descretion and observe the matchup over a weekend.

No. In my personal experience (with some Australe - from BigC incidentally) and a group of female bettas it did not work at all. This was in a 20 US gallon heavily planted. I had to remove the female bettas because they were very ferocious towards the killifish. Constant flaring and chasing. Now that in my opinion is not a peaceful life to live for any fish.

well they have been together for a while and then male betta and make killi swim around together buty theres no flareing or anythink so i think it shouls be ok
but im keeping an eye on them

You seem very lucky then :) sometimes it is very much up to an individual fish. Just never forget to keep an eye on them - and watch their fins especially for nipping.
