Just a quick question will guppies live with a Male betta?

Also how many would i be able to get if so, tank is 10G

Usually not. The male Betta sees the long flowing tails and thinks the male guppies are other male Bettas. If this is the tank in your sig line, the danios would probably pick on the Betta.

I wouldn't do it simply because I've had bad experience with it, but I have heard a few successful stories.
Guppies tend to be very nippy and will often times tare the betta's fins. I tried putting my male crowntail in my community with a bunch of guppies and while he didn't bother them at all, the next morning I found him hiding from the guppies with his fins all torn. I have a picture of what he looked like after the guppies had there way with him, but unfortunately it's not on this computer.

Aside from behavioural concerns, they both prefer very different water parameters :good:.

i have got 4 2 male and 5 female guppys in a tank that has a betta
