Betta 18G Tankmates

I'm really tempted to fill my smallish 18g (2 foot long) tank with a Crowntail, they're so pretty! but i wondered if there are any tankmates that would be suitable?
i'm thinking Cory cats, they'd keep out the way, any others?

Corydoras, Harlequin Rasboras, Ember Tetras, Platies, Mollies, Endlers, Shrimp, Snails.
They're all I can think of right now

Cories are great choices, also Khuli loach, none nippy tetra (also not overly colourful)

I have platys and mollies and they all get along really well

i have my betta with endlers, had bad experience with 1 rather aggressive platy
