Beta's And Filters. Can Anyone Help?

ok, so I've caught him stuck to the intake 2 times. Can anyone suggest a cheap filter that he wont get stuck on? I've unplugged mine for now.

Is he in the 2.5 gallon?
These should all work:

Whisper 10 power filter (for tanks 5-10 gallons, but has flow control valve)

I have the whisper 10i in a 5 gallon tank (can be used tanks 2-10 gal)
I have the aquavase nano filter in a 3 gallon
I just ordered the Azoo, so don't know yet how it works but the Whisper 10i and the Aquavase Nano work great! :)

You could try a Red Sea Nano filter. This is made for betta's and their tanks! I have on on a 2.5 gallon tank now and it works GREAT!! You are also able to control how much flow the filter gives out!

Yep that's the exact same as the aquavase nano filter...actually we linked to same page, too! :) Working good in my 3 gal kritter keeper :)

In the meantime try and stick a peice of filter sponge over the intake... this will help protect your betta whilst you sort the filter issue out.

I purchased a Tetra Whisper 3i, and modified the intake tube. I had to shorten it because it was sucking up gravel. Other than that, he seems happy, and all is well. Thanks for the help!
