Hey i have small clown loaches and a small black shark, they dont seem to be eating all to much, wut do you guys suggest to do to get them to eat. They are in a 125 gallon aqwuarium and are a bout an inch long?? Suggestions???

How long have you had them as when you first buy them and add them to the tank some fish don't eat for a few days due to stres, also has there colour gone darker..

Well i got them last night, and no there color isnt really darker. However the black shark is black so as you know i cant tell haha. The clowns pick on the sinking pellets at the bottom but arent big enough to eat them whole. I dont no if thats enough. THe black shark doesnt really eat but he comes out and it seems he cant swim against the current it takes him. If he came like that from the LFS will he get healthy and strong from living in my tank??

Some fish don't like strong currents, I wouldn't worry to much yet if you have just got the fish, give it a few days then if they are not eating get back to the board, good luck. also maybe split the pellet in half to see if that helps if they are tiny.

If they're picking at the wafer, that's probably enough. I used to have a clown and all he did was pick at the wafers I gave him, but he was fat as a hog!

I have seen some kind of small fish food or fry food (not sure of the exact name) in Petsmart but haven't ever tried it. It looks to be about the size of granular sugar or salt. I would think they could eat that without any problems. Also, the Hikari Betta Bio Gold are very small. As someone said though, if you just put them in, they may not eat much till they get acclaimated.

Sharks like current in general, if he didn't like it he would avoid it.

Is it a red tailed black shark, or a fully black shark?

I had a shark that wouldn't eat anything large. You may want to try Hikari Micro Pellets. They seem to like those as well, but also vary the diet.
