I got a red tail shark approx 1 inch (very small for a RTS from what I heard?), anyways he doesn't get to eat much when I add feed the fish. It's a 10 gal community (will be transfered into a 29 long soon) with 2 fancy tail guppy, 1 small blue gourami, 2 small opaline gourami, 2 small long finned zebra danios.

The problem is when I add flakes the guppy's and danio's go for them, then the flakes start to fall, the gouramis get them and 1 or half of 1 makes it down then the RTS gets it... I've tried frozen blood worms (not dried) and add like a few at a time they seem to fall to the bottom but once those worms hit the water all the fish are on it and the RTS doesn't get any at all... should I be feeding the RTS something else??

try some algea wafers or shrimp pellets for a while. Soon enough he will be able to fight for his food and chase the others away. I toss mine shrimp pellets every now and then and he seems to like 'em. :flex:

Okay I just got back from LFS and got some Algae Wafers, about the size of a penny each. For my 1 RTS would I just put one of these wafers in the tank at night time? Or split it in half? From experience what do you guys do?
