Best Time To Sell?

Do tanks sell better at certain times of year? I watch my local tanks on ebay and the numbers droppped dramatically around xmas and there still aren't many with this weather. I've decided I'm having a clearout and wondered whether to just go for it, or wait until summer maybe?

I think price depends on how fast you want to get rid of the tank and your location. I bought last year a rio 400 complete all working with 3 external filters, uv purifier, heaters, gravel, plants loads of stuff off ebay, but because it was central london and a bit of a nightmare journey I think thats why we got it for £57.11.

That price is right and there wasnt a 1 in front of the 5 lol

Xmas is always a bad time to try and sell them, Ive also noticed, that starting at a high price stops people bidding, start at a low price and they often go over the higher price items, psycologically, I think people believe they are getting a bargin if they bid it up, rather than just a single bid higher price or buy it now. The last year tanks have gone cheaper because there isnt as much cash around either.
