I have 3 Cardinals, 3 Platinums and 4 Glowlights in the same tank as my 3 Mollys.

When i feed flakes i am not sure if the Tetras are getting their fair share of the food.

Is there a better food available for Tetras ?

i use tetra pro colour crisps for my cardinals in my discus tank they seem to be getting enough

Ive recently bought this for my rotkeil sevs and angels etc etc. Only been using it a few days, have you noticed any better colouration monty?

I've been using it for a few months now and after about 3-4week
i noticed my ram got better colouration on it, not sure if it was the food or maybe something else.

I feed the pro colour crisps every other day!

Apperantly its alot 'cleaner' for the tank too as it breaks down into bigger bits so the filter can get them easier (so i read? lol).

I use "Nutrafin Max - Discus" & "Tetra Prima" for my Angels and other fish including Tetras, and they seem to be doing very well on it.
The granules are quite big though for smaller Tetras. Not sure about Nutrafin, but the Prima does come in a smaller granule size.

Thanks for the replies, any recommendation where to get tetra pro colour crisps from ?

You could PM me i've got some for sale :)

Agree with Monty, Tetra Colour Pro is great. All the fish love it.

For your tetras try Hikari Micro Pellets. They are specially designed for smaller tetras.

I have found mollys to be the most versatile eaters. They will eat anything i put in the tank (including blanched fresh veg for the bristlenose). The take food from every level in the tank and munch away at any algae as well.

Both tetra and hikari are available online and in most fish/pet shops.

whenever you're ready mate :)

Dudfield, if you can powder some prima granules then that makes a really good first fry food, i've been using it for my rainbow cichlids and they're growing very nicely
