Best Hob Filter For A 5 Gallon

I'm looking at getting a 5 gallon setup for a Betta I currently have in a 1.5, plus to use as a QT tank prior to putting new fish in the main tank.

I like the Aqeuon 5 gallon kits, but I've read the filter is a bit sh*ts and I cannot find another very small filter besides ones for 3 gallons. I'd like to stay away from 10 gallon and up because I know the Bettas don't like current.

Anyone know one? I've been scouring the net and haven't seen much.

Sponge filters arn't all bad. You could try the one below, I use a larger one in my 29 goldfish tank.

As for HoB filters, a lot of them SHOULD be ok. Marina makes a new slim filter, I am currently testing it on a 10 gallon and its flow is very light but has a good amount of room for media (Am not using the default media). If you have 30-60 bucks to spend on a filter Zoomed makes a canister filter that offers 70GPH filtration through a spraybar and doesn't have a strong flow, I would actually highly recommend it for any tank 10 gallons and under. Those are just my personal opinions
