Best Food For Endlers

i've got a group of endlers and have been feeding them aquarian flakes but they will only est the dar coloured flake and spit out the light coloured ones, just wondering if there is anything else i could use.

I almost always feed my endlers a spirulina flake food but I sometimes add a bit of high protein fry food to their diet. Fry food is an appropriate size and since many of the fish in any endler tank are fry, it makes some sense that way too. One of the problems with high protein fry food is that it is often too high in animal protein for an endler. That is why I only mix some in no more than once or twice a week.
