Best Filtration For 20 Long

Well I am working on my 20G Long tank and am wondering what the most ideal filtration would be. It will be fully planted (As in 90% of substrate will be plants) and have full Co2 with 2WPG. Current filtration is 2 ZooMed 501 Turtle canister filters which are smaller canister filters that have a 70GPH turnover and not a lot of current. Also have a fluval 2+ which will be the main source of current (also currently have flow reduced medium). Would I be better off changing the flirtation of keeping it the same? I'm not to worried about my budget since I will have enough for anything else I need in a month or 2. The tank will be lightly stocked with oto's and some form of shoaling fish if all goes according to plan.

Ideally in a planted tank you want to be aiming for x10 the turnover of your total volume. So if you've got a 20g tank you want to be aiming at 200gph turnover. This ensures the current is strong enough to poush CO2 and nutrients to every part of your tank giving you optimum conditions.

As for filtration you will probably have enough in what you already have, but its the flow in the tank you want. Adding a koralia powerhead to assist will more than likely do fine, there cheaper than upping your filtration also :good:
