New tank, come on mate tell us more then, when does it arrive and the size , is it going to be a whole new set-up and are you keeping your other one. i take it you will be running a journal for this new tank I love your newest fish mate i would like to have one of those myself, i will see how you get on with yours first

its not deffinate yet. One has come up advertised about an hour away. Ive asked for first dibs so its just a case of getting a van. If i can sort a van il pick it up asap.

Wont be filled for a while though. Cant really afford all the equipment yet.

But its
4.5'x2'x2' 113 gallons

35"x26"x24" sump 70 odd gallons

and a 30 gallon 3rd tank which i would prob set us as a DSB

Well a mate of mine is pretty confident he can sort us a van...so probably will happen.

going to do one of those spray decor foam and sand backgrounds. Always regretted not doing a BigC style one but i think sticking those stones on 4.5'x2' would drive me to suicide lol.

Then im going to order two female flahser for my wrasse

I like softies and hard corals. So i want to use a corner weir. Have softies around the corner weir, lps in the middle and SPS on the far side. With the flow going along the tank so all the gunk off the softies should go straight off down the weir. Sounds ok in my head anyway

Sounds good if i started again i would also copy BigC's background rather you then me sticking all that on, if i remember rightly he took a while doing his and your tank would be far bigger so good luck with that

Im going to do a spay one! think BigC's is aweseom just dont have the patients for that.

You cut an egg crate frame to size with cave and what not. Tie wrap some little reef bones and bits of rock to it. Then spry the expanding foam on it. Wait for it to set then add a sealer thing and coat it in sand.

A bit like this but they haven't used and actual rock just foam

Not looking too bad.

Would like to add a background to it and think i may have to re-do the sump. One of the baffles popped off down one side.
Corals look quite good though, going to add a few sps frags soon
