Hello everyone :)

Its been a while since ive been here. i hope to be on a lot more frequently again.

ok now for the problem.....

my 55 gal tank has 2 EB Jack Dempseys, 2 Rotkeil sevs, a parrot fish, and a high fin leopard pleco. before anyone goes off on me about the tank size i know the sevs cant stay in the 55 :D LOL all of the fish are around 3 - 4 inches right now. Anyways the problem/question i have is about they're behavior.

all of the fish get along pretty well. they used to be very friendly and would always swim about and greet you (ok beg for food) when they would see anyone by the tank. now in the last week or two all of the fish seem to have gotten very skittish. most movement scares them to the nearest hiding place.

their diet is cichlid pellet once or twice a day and bloodworms now and again for a treat.

any ideas???????

Thank you all in advance!!!

I had exactly the same happen to me a few weeks ago, we went out for the evening (which is rare) and when I came back I couldnt see a single fish in my 400l tank and for a week or more they did the same as you are discribing. I presumed that someone knocked on the door and the dogs went nuts and must have knocked the tank or something. They are all fine now though.

alright :) thanks for the input.....just want to be sure ya know LOL theres quite a bit of money swimming in that tank HAHAHA thanks again
