I gave my decor a little over haul earlier has it was looking rather drab...

I've put new bogwood in and live plants,i hope to find some rocks & add some background plants & hide the airline etc.

How did you get the plant to grow on the wood I want to try this!?

Certain plants grow best on wood or rocks. Anubias can be tied or glued to the wood/rocks. The same goes for java fern and mosses.

I like your tank setup! Ive been tossing the idea around of redecorating mine. Id like to go the 'natural' route. Sometimes it really is true that less is more.. but i find it hard to find the pieces that would make it 'just right'! you definitely gave me some ideas!

That's what I did. Once they are established, you can just snip the thread off, or leave it there...no big deal. You could also use fishing line. It can be superglued as well, depending on what the primary ingredient is.

Nice, i like it.
As a suggestion-leave the piece on the left alone and move one of the other 3 pieces either forward or back, to give it some depth to the perspective.

That's a great idea. It will look much more natural with that change.
