Hi everyone.
My tank is nearly 6 weeks now, water values fine, have 4 pregnant gupps and 1 smug male gupp plus 3 little neon glowlights. Anyway, I thought the glowlights looked a bit outnumbered coz the guppies have got so big so just popped down to a new lfs for a browse and wow!! what a selection they had. So ok I was tempted. Well ok so I got some Not too many mind you! Have introduced a Pitbull plec (he stuck to the glass at once then swam down to his specially prepared cave) his name's Bob. Also a few more glo's coz I promised the others, and 4 leopard danios which are tiny at the mo. Oh happy day

The lfs advised me to feed Bob on 1 algae wafer every other day and I got some freeze-dried as treats for the others. Nice lfs, will go back there
Should I do a water change today or will it stress the fish too much?

Is it the pitbull or the bulldog plec you have, they are often mislabelled.

Either way, both are nice plecs.

How many glowlights have you got now? They look really awesome in shoals of 10+.

Hi Ben, he's definately a pitbull, I've already been on the web and it's him!
Yes he is so cute. Have 9 glowlights now, Lovely!! My origional 3 look brighter but I think that's due to the flake food?? Did you know about the water change?

As long as your bacteria is all built up nicely and your tap water doesnt drastically vary then it should be no problem at all, do at least 30%
