Right.... well i`ve had a busy two or three years, and have let my tank go untended.

As we have just moved i intend to set my tank up again with a low tec setup.

I have just ordered a new luminare with 2x58w t5`s
and a new filter and other bits.

the tank is 2ft tall by 4 foot wide and 18inches deep.

i get roughgly 2.5 wpg.

Right now you know the tank heres the info i need.
I want a relativly low tec set up, i know because its a tall tank i need lots of stem plants to give the height, and maybe some crinums but what else can you think of that talish?

I also want an inert substrate any tips?

You're gonna struggle to keep it 'low tech' with that amount of light. You're gonna need IMO an injection of c02 with that amount of light. With a tank that size the c02 would be better coming from a pressurised unit. Algae could be a problem without.
