Been A While... I Still Have Bettas...

I've been busy and haven't been able to visit this section as often. Great to see some fry being raised.

Went to NYC for a month and returned to find out that my cats had their way with Fugly and Pretty.

I still have Fugly's brother and the bigger female that I got. Fugly's brother is a very big betta now, but he looks the same, just like 2x as big. Did some growing. The new female has really changed.

Talk about a change! She lives in my planted tank now.

I got a new male. Saw these at PetsMart, while I was there to get dog food. Called dragonscale bettas. Hahahaha, I love advertising. This is a cute little fish. He's small, and I'm guessing another little PK

But look how pretty that flare is. Very nice little fish. Sorry for the video quality. I'm guessing HM PK, but it doesn't really matter, the guy is really pretty. Cheap too. They had a mix of long-finned and short-finned.

It happens. I wasn't there to watch the cats. The irony is that most of my tanks are open-top. The cats are great if I'm around. But when I'm away, they will play. Lost a couple of rasboras and otos over the years too.

I love the new male, he's super pretty. I don't have names for any of them yet. Will think of something very mundane. Ian, what was the name you kept pushing when I had Fugly?
