Arghhh some reason my fish didn't really enjoy the thought of a tiny new molly being added in. As soon as he was free into the tank everyone just group attacked him, damaging his fins and pulling an eyeball out. I paniced not having a net by me and just pulled him out with my hand and put him in a emergency tank. He doesn't look well...not at all. I dont think he's going to make it.. is there a chance he might or should I just help him end it? =\ :-( :-(

if you look at the edges of the wounds, what color are they? Is there fuzzy stuff growing on him?

As an immediate solution, i would add aquarium salt into the hospital tank (1 tablespoon per 5 gal). Also, add melafix to help prevent an infection if one hasnt set in. If one has, then you will probably want a stronger antibiotic.

Just looked at him, He was on the bottom of the tank laying there like he's dead. He doesn't really have visible wounds on his body, but a hole in his head where the eye is missing.. =\ He can barely swim, only moves if I tap him then he makes a slow attempt to move. :-(

What types of fish do you have with him? Do you have any means of separating him from them?

He's in a tank alone now.

If missing an eye and some torn up fins is all that is wrong, the fish stands a good chance of recovery. If there is unseen internal damage, it's hard to tell. Letting us know what type of fish tore him/her up would give us a better idea as to the extent, if any, of internal damage.

One important thing for recovery is water changes. I would do daily 50% water changes for the next week. I've saved some really mauled angels with fresh water alone.

A tiny baby oscar and red devil. (1 inch)

He looks dead, hes on the bottom upside down not moving at all. Cept if I touch him softly he'll flutter his fins :-(

you want to be careful to not stress him. Cover the tank with a blanket and turn the light off. The darkness will help him relax.

was he with the red devil and the oscar? If so, they are very agressive fish, and mollies are not acceptable tank mates.

If the fish was in with something like barbs, it would probably have been just a little fin damage. With a couple of aggresive cichlids, even small ones, the molly probably has internal injuries. Small cichlids can hit pretty hard.
