Some of you may remember my topic from not long back about how I got delivered this wee fella and he had a seriously deformed mouth area. Was really worried that he wouldn't cope with feeding and would struggle to get anything amongst the other Discus. Well now, not sure if its an inferiority complex but he's not moving for anyone and even nipping his bigger tankmates. Does have to approach food at a funny angle but he's making sure he gets his share.....

And yes, he is named after the legendary ex Newcastle footballer.......

naaa, its just the camera angle to show off his deformity, he's not that thin really, actually not a bad build and he's only young. Breeder is going to give me a free replacement and have used before with no problems. I never thought he'd cope yet now he's playing the role of boss in the tank.

Well done lill discus! I have a 'runtish' type discus and he has become my fave just cos he is the 'underdog'.

Poor little guy but he seems to be doing well so all is good.

Oh okay, that is good then! Hopefully he lives a long and healthy life!
