Cool :) but what a really weird shell shape - I wonder why ? -_-

my lfs sometimes gets a mixed lot of nerites, they had these once
freshwater right? i know some nerites arent and i get confused!
they the same to take care of as other snails (i've got ramshorns, and had a suicidal apple snail that stuck himself to the heater and died)

Hi,

Yes they are freshwater, though most nerites can also live in brackish so these probably can too. I have them in with apple snails, Mts, zebra nerites, staghorn nerites and porcupine nerites and also the fish listed in my profile in the 55 gal, they mainly eat algae and cucumber unlike the apple snails who just hog the fish food
