Bass Or Perch Hybrid?

Hey y'all! So yesterday I decided to empty out my catfjsh trap since forever.. And found a ton of these guys in there! I'm not sure what he is.. Some sort of Texas Freshwater Pond/Lake species.. I've caught tons of bass from that pond, mostly Guadalupe bass, and a few Sun perches. Anyone got an idea?

He also has rainbow coloring when he's in natural light I believe. He is a little aggresive. Would he do okay in a tank with Angels, Mollies, Swords, Corydoras, and Rams for a bit? He's in a quarentine tank at the moment, but he seems perfectly healthy.
