Basic Plant Care

Hi guys, I have got a 95l aquarium set up with play sand substrate and planted in that is straight vallis, Elodea (pond weed) , and some java fern attatched to a pebble. I was looking to add Easycarbo on a permenant basis as i don't want to set up co2 gas. Just wanted to know that with my fairly basic plants will this be a good move or will a standard plant feed be enough to keep them healthy?

I can't help with the Easycarbo as I've never used it. Though I'm sure if you were to give specs on what lighting you're using, wattage and how many tubes etc, then someone will be able to advise.

Most of use work/ go to school. Also dont forget differences in time! It has only been 6hr which isnt very long.



Easycarbo will provide a source of carbon for the plants, it will help them although keep a check on the vallis - aslong as you dont overdose you should be fine.
For other nutrients such as NPK & trace elements you need to dose something like seachem flourish or tropica plant nutrition+

This I was allowing for it was just that others were posting and answering on the same section so I assumed someone would have experience, no worries

i OD easy carbo and the vallis is loving it lol, but i dont recommend it.

I was told recently that EasyCArbo will melt Vallis, so didn't order any on my last order

From the above posts it seems it would be ok?

I use 5ml of EasyCarbo on a 125litre tank and my Vallis.nana is healthy.

if you dont overdose then it should be fine, however i have heard that nana isnt as bad as the other specieis of vallisneria.
