I went into LFS.......

..so did he...

...I started browsing...

....he offered owner a fish tank that he was "only going to get rid of it"....

....LFS owner had enough 2nd hand tanks.....

....he left....

...I left...

....I opened my boot (trunk for those of you reading overseas)

....he loaded a nice looking 24 x 12 x 20 tank into my car.....complete with all the glass sliding bits and hood.

I went home and tried to explain how I had gone out to get a washer for a leaking tap and come home with another fish tank..........

I know it is not fantastically valuable..........and it is second hand........

.....I am just pleased that something like that didn't get thrown away and wasted.....

......and that I don't need to justify buying another tank.......just getting given one is like saying ".......the force is strong within me and my aquaria.........have another tank......"



I want something a little different in this tank..............

.......was thinking of having it in our conservatory.........with a bit of a jungly theme round it.........and in it..............

.......great isn't it..........a whole new tank (not huge I know) to fill.............

Found a spot for it...............I have a spare Eheim 2215 at home...........I think this is going to be my first tank with a Sand substrate...........

...........setting up this weekend......

It is a bit of an odd size......pics when in place and cycling.........
