Fish Fanatic
My wife has banned me from Craigslist.
I got three more aquariums in two days.
Okay, I was looking for one 20 gal aquarium to house my wife's fish while I redo her 22 gal.
Watching Craiglist, I saw a 29 gallon setup at a very good price. I called and was told she had sold it. As it hadn't been picked up yet, I said I would buy it if the other buyer backed out.
An hour later a new add pops up with a package deal, an aquarium setup (bad pic but obviously very dirty) and a refrigerator, (weird combo, huh?) at a very good price. Looking at the dimensions I realized that the aquarium is a 58 gal Oceanic. I immediately sent an email saying I would take it. Too late again, I was second in line, but said I would take it if the buyer backed out (which I couldn't imagine.)
Three hours later the first seller calls stating her buyer backed out and I agreed to buy the 29 gal aquarium. As I'm driving to pick it up, the second seller calls, his buyer was a no show. Oh geez, I don't need another aquarium but a 58 gal Oceanic at a great price (with a refrigerator). Okay, I'll take it and pick it up tomorrow.
Next morning as I'm driving to work, I see a 10 gal put out for the trash. I stop and look at it, no cracks and 75% full of nice gravel, it even has a lid but no light. What the heck, in the truck it goes.
So that night, I come home with the 10 gal and the 58 gal and the refrigerator.
Two days, three more aquariums and a refrigerator.
Yep, my wife has now officially banned me from Craig's list. (I gotta hurry. She's gone upstairs and I can sneak a peak.)
Greg
PS. The 10 gal is watertight.
Wow, another 29 gal at an even better price but I'm not buying it. Two more 58 gal Oceanics but they want a lot more money and they don't come with a refrigerator.
