They don't look like proper bamboo plants to me, probably non aquatic but Googling them would be a safer option.

They will for a bit but are not truly aquatic so will eventually die I'm afraid.

there not bamboo there umbrella plants and there not true aquatics

ok thanks for the advice guys, i think ill give them a miss then. just thought they looked a bit different from the norm....
