Balloon Mollies

I have decided to make the balloon molly the star attraction of my 30 gallon tank.

The aquarium will also be home to

6 to 9 neon tetra
6 zebra danio
3 oto (Oto cat, Golden otocinclus, Dwarf Sucker Mouth )
3 Panda Corydoras Catfish

I don't have any plans to add any more fish than these since the mollies are likely to breed.

So how many of the balloon mollies should I get?

Well, it really depends on how big your tank is. The general rule is 2-3 Females for every 1 Male. So, if you go with 4 Balloons, get 1 Male and 3 Female.

I love balloon mollies! I agree with Becca! You should get 3 females and one male. I'm still looking around for a few females for my male balloon molly!

balloon mollies are very nice fish.go with 2 or 3 females for every male.
i have a chocolate balloon and she is my favorite.very sweet fish.likes to nibble on my finger.
