Bala sharks

hi,
in every fish book that i have read, it states that bala sharks
will not breed in captivaty. i have 3 sharks and this morning
after i feed the fish with chopped pieces of prawn, i noticed
the biggest too sharks shimming together , this lasted a good
10 minutes on and of, this behaviour was exactly the same
as when my rosybarbs spawned , i watched but i did'nt see
any spawn. now this has happend once before and that
to was after feeding with prawns. just wonderd if any one
else has ever seen there sharks mating.

In order for the sharks to breed they need a much larger tank than what we keep them in. So no they don't breed in the home aquaria. I too have seen my sharks do this. It would be neat if they did but they don't. Rose

Isn't it though. I'd have more sharks than I'd know what to do with. :hehe:
