ok well my texas breeding pair is broke now and the male killed the female today and ate the eyes before i saw it so now what do i do should i get some more texas or take the dead female and live male back to my lps and trade them for something else i would like to get some breeding going but what to get if i take them back they have some little baby fish there but i dont know what they are they just say mix on the tank and they are yellow and others are blue and white and they are like a yellow lab body. so what do i do please help me

What have you bred in the past?
i have bred the common stuff swords mollies and stuff like that i had a pair of breding sevums for like 2 years then my mom hired a maid and she over fed my whole tank and killed all my fish while i was on vacation i loved them but they take so long to get a breeding pair i would like to get some that dont take so long to make a pair. i am thinking of getting those little cichlids that are like 1 inch long and raising them up to see what they look like and see if there is a pair and hope there is but that should be fun i will try to get some pics tomorow when i go to my lps to get like 4 of them i think i will get 2 yellow ones and like 2 blue ones and probly a white with bluish strips then i will post pics to you guys to see what they are and where they come from
thanks
kevin

Yes I was going to suggest convicts. Easy to breed and a good starter NW Cichlid.

I also have heard that kribs are easy to breed.

I would go for kirbs, having bread themmyself they are much more fun imo.

Kribs are pretty easy to breed, and will actually have some value in most areas when you want to sell the fry.

Convicts don't normally have any value.
