Bad 2 Days

What a bad 2 days I've had. First of all my Bristlenose catfish died yesterday he had his defence spines out and they were caught in my fluval e serious heater casing so I assume he must have died through stress being stuck
Then today when I came in my temperature was really low and after taking the heater out of the casing to examining it I noticed the end of the heater was broken off Those heaters are a right load of rubbish I've had nothing but hassle from them, so at the moment I have just a standard heater in their until I buy a rena smart Do you think the heater would be all right if I slide it into the casing of the old fluval casing or do you think this would damage the heater

Wow.. thats a sucky couple of days.

Sorry about the fish, and heater troubles aren't uncommon in this house.

And i'm afraid I can't offer any advice, I just replied to console.

hi and sorry to hear about your loss,never nice but sadly it happens.

sure if you have seen on this site that rena smart heaters are good,im using one and as a external pick up,i can add that they are good but would sugest that if not using as a filter pick up then plug up the hole at the top as i have read of fish getting trapped.
